San Diego!

Hey Everyone - We had such a great time in San Diego for Spring Break. I'll admit that vacation with a baby is a little different than when it was just Nate and I, but we had a great time. The weather was BEAUTIFUL, mid 70's everyday with direct sun and just a hint of a breeze. We went to Sea World one day (Hayden really didn't get what was going on, but I had never been before and loved it), hit the beach a few times, and got in some much needed sun and shopping! Overall, we decided that we could definetely pick up and move there in a heartbeat.
These pictures were all taken at the beach in La Jolla. There were a ton of sea lions just parked out on the beach. I don't know if they were mating or what, but it was fun to see them.

Nate rented a body board and was crazy enough to get in the freezing ocean in Coronado. What a babe! Hayden also loved getting his little toes in the sand, but right after Nate took this picture, the tide came in a little further than we anticipated and soaked Hayden and I. Needless to say, he didn't like the cold water very much and started screaming! I'm sure all the other people on the beach thought we were nuts.

Sea World!

These sea lions were in this pool where people could buy little fish and feed them. They were barking so loud I couldn't believe it. They would stand on their back flippers? fins? (I don't know the correct terminology!) and just bark at us to feed them.

At Miguel's Restaurant in Coronado. If you are ever in San Diego, you have to eat here. It was amazing!

Sigh, I love San Diego. I keep trying to convince J that he should apply to some southern CA schools but to no avail. Apparently he likes having 'seasons.' What better seasons than Spring/Summer? Anyway, you look amazing, and that little is just so adorable. Glad you had a great Spring Break! Back to real life now, huh?

Great photos! I love La Jolla...Juliette loves Seal Beach. Adrian and I were sealed in San Diego, and it my favorite temple, so far. You, Nate, and Hayden look like you belong in SoCal! My brother lives in Ocean Beach, and what a life, livin in the sun all year long. SO foreign to me. Maybe we'll get 70 degree weather here eventually, for three days, before it's 105 this summer. Happy for your amazing spring break! You deserve it Mama!

Kate, that was the nicest thing to say. I don't deserve such accolades. Everyone has to work through the trials they are presented in life. Sucks, but what else can we do right? Giving up just isn't an option.

Whether you know it or not, you were an example to me. Always. You helped me through some rocky hike school days. Sorry it took me soooo long to say 'thank you.'

I'm glad you have found an amazing man who deserves you. Hayden is a doll. I'm so glad you are happy.

Blogs amaze me. I'm glad we can catch up. Please, please keep in touch.

Thanks for leaving a note, it was fun to see your blog. So what happens when your husband is done with school? Are you back to Utah/Idaho? Also, are you sewing those lovey designs? I didn't know you were a seamstress. Your baby is adorable!
