California Dreamin

We just got back from the most magical trip to California.  It was the kids first trip to Disneyland and it didn't disappoint!  We had such a great time and made so many magical memories.  While there, we celebrated our 8th anniversary.  It was also mine and Cora's birthday.  What a fun place to celebrate!
All Cora wanted for her birthday was to meet the princesses and go to Pixie Hollow.
We also had breakfast with Minnie and it was worth every penny!  The kids got to meet and spend time with all of the characters and it was one of their favorite memories.
The highlight of the trip for Hayden was Star Wars Jedi Training.  We watched it once and Hayden didn't get chosen.  After the devastation, he was bound and determined to get picked and luckily he did!    It was a fun experience!
My favorite part of the trip definitely the parade.  We watched it twice and Rapunzel
looked right at Hayden and blew him a kiss.  It was pretty sweet!
We also loved California Adventure.  Cars Land is amazing and fulfilled my little boys racing fantasy!
After our magical days at Disneyland we headed down to Carlsbad to go to Lego Land.  We hadn't heard the best things about Lego Land and I honestly didn't love it, but Hayden thought it was amazing.  He still talks about how cool all of the Lego guys were so I am glad we went.
Our hotel was right by this amazing flower farm and the views were incredible!
On the last day of our trip, we went to the beach in Oceanside.  Sadly it wasn't super sunny, but the kids didn't mind at all!  They had a great time splashing in the surf and building a sand castle.
Overall, it was an amazing trip and we are already saving our pennies for our next visit to the sunshine state!

What a fun trip! Your pics make me miss California so much! Hopefully we'll be back in Dec. or Jan.

Isn't Disneyland the BEST?!! We absolutely love it. It blows our mind every time we go how amazing it is. Never been to a cleaner, nicer, better run place ever. Or busier, and more expensive - but that's neither here nor there ;)
