WT in UT

We were in Utah this past week and had the best time.  I'm sure the beautiful weather, an incredible family, and endless fun had something to do with it!  I have no pictures to document the event, but Ali, Christina and I went Women's Conference at BYU and had such a great time.  I even ran into my great friend Kathy Sloan from Kansas City.  Who would have guessed!  I loved being enriched and hearing more about how to be a better person and a better mom.  It was just what I needed to start fresh and renew myself for the summer.
Sunday, the whole family got together at my sister Ali's house and celebrated big.  They have this hilarious miniature horse named Maximus who is in serious need a haircut and the kids are all obsessed with it.  I think Coco got 4 turns riding it and still was dying for more turns.  It was a hit.
We also joked that there is no need to take any of the kids to Disneyland because the Jones' have their own White Trash Disneyland in their back yard complete with Maximus, a Barbie Jeep, a miniature fork lift, and about a million other things kids love.  Needless to say, it was a fun Spring night.
To continue our white trashiness, we went to the Palmyra Stock Show just like I always did as a kid.  While there, we basked in the incredibly stinky sheep barn, watched the pigs and sheep, and enjoyed hotdogs, nachos, and a plethora of other disgusting goodies.  Cora especially loved picking her nose while looking a the tiny baby sheep.  Good times all around!
We finished off the trip with a bridal shower for my darling cousin Shelby.  It was on Cinco de Mayo so we had a taco bar and even dressed a Dora the Explorer pinata like a bride!  It was pretty funny!  Cora was so excited for everyone to come to the party that she plopped her chair right in front of the door so she wouldn't miss anyone's arrival.  I am so grateful for darling cousins and a wonderful family who love each other so much.  And isn't my Grandma Floss the cutest thing ever!
